Down on Me

7.28.21

I wish I could be as nonchalant as this woman is - like she’s enjoying a good conversation with someone just to her side.  Well, I guess she is - lips speaking silently.  Holding the other caringly and carefully.

Why is the other so stiff? Boxy like a clumsy boy?  And not.  At some point, playing an instrument takes over.  You can feel the response.

She curves to your curled fingers.

Head in the clouds.

Your head down my pants.

Laying down in the grass.

Looking up at the sky.

Shouldn’t I relax into this gift?
